Be. Life, Art, Magic

Angela DeCarlis, MBA, is a professional muralist, visual artist and creative entrepreneur in Utica, and Be. Life, Art, Magic is the business through which she makes public art, develops educational programs and runs community-centered projects. Her work centers on connection between people and place, memory and imagination, and story and space.

Two decades of artistic practice and more than a decade of public art are behind her murals, which can be found across the Mohawk Valley and beyond, in schools, theaters, small businesses and cultural organizations. The work is grounded in listening, research and relationship-building, with the goal of art that is emotionally resonant, visually rich and built to last.
