BASCOL (Before & After School Childcare on Location, Inc.)

Before and after school care for kids in grades K-6 is the work of BASCOL, short for Before & After School Childcare on Location, Inc. It’s a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that a group of working parents founded in 1992 when they needed quality child care for school-age children.

Care runs before and after school, during school vacations and snow days, and through the summer, with sites in school buildings across Onondaga and Oswego counties. A board of directors and an executive director keep the program in line with New York State child care regulations.
