Amcor

Amcor is a global packaging company with a Syracuse location in the manufacturing sector. The company makes the flexible and rigid packaging used for food, beverages, medical products and other everyday goods, the kind of work that is part of nearly every shopping trip and every trip to the pharmacy.

Most shoppers handle Amcor’s work without noticing it, since packaging is the part of a product people open and throw away. A Syracuse operation ties a worldwide company to the region’s long manufacturing tradition, and it is a member of MACNY, the Manufacturers Association of Central New York.
