About

The Alzheimer’s Association Central New York Chapter is the local branch of the national nonprofit working on Alzheimer’s care, support and research, with an office in East Syracuse. It serves 14 counties, reaching from the Southern Tier to the North Country, and its work is aimed at families as well as patients.

The chapter offers free education, guidance and resources to people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, as well as their caregivers, families and healthcare providers. It also advocates for the needs and rights of those affected and supports research aimed at treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
