Ake Gallery
About
Ake Gallery is an art gallery in downtown Cortland that rotates exhibits of local and regional artists. It also displays original work by its founder, Paul Kozlowski, so visitors can see both the artists the gallery supports and the person behind it in a single stop on a downtown walk.
The gallery has a reputation beyond Cortland: past patrons have included comedians Bill Maher, Sarah Silverman and Bobcat Goldthwait. For a city nicknamed the Crown City, it is a creative stop that works for browsing, gift shopping and seeing what area artists are making.
