Airbnb
About
Airbnb is the online marketplace where hosts list homes, apartments and rooms for short stays. In Cortland County it is one of the ways visitors find a place to sleep for a weekend, whether they are in town for a SUNY Cortland event or just visiting family.
Short-term rentals can suit travelers who want more space or a kitchen, and they spread visitors out across the county’s villages and countryside rather than keeping everyone in one spot. Experience Cortland, the area’s tourism group, features it as one of the options for finding a stay.
What to Know
- Airbnb is an online booking platform, not a single local property.
- Listings are posted by individual hosts, so the options vary from place to place.
- Rentals can work well for families and groups who want a home base with extra room.
- It is featured by Experience Cortland, the area’s tourism group.
