Advocates Incorporated

Advocates, Inc. is a nonprofit organization in Fayetteville that supports children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with their families. Its aim is to give people the information and resources they need to live full, meaningful lives as part of their communities, rather than on the sidelines of them.

Day-to-day support includes one-on-one mentors and support staff, self-directed community habilitation, and self-directed residential supports backed by a Backup Mentor service. For families, there is training, reimbursement for respite care, help accessing services, medical advocacy, family recreation and special events.
