Adirondack Railroad, Adirondack Railway Preservation Society

About

The Adirondack Railway Preservation Society is the nonprofit behind the Adirondack Railroad, with a base in Utica. Its trains let riders relive the golden age of railroading in climate-controlled coaches or an open car as the line runs through remote forests.

The route heads north into the beauty of the Adirondacks, and the society also offers event and conference possibilities. As a preserved railroad, it is part history lesson and part scenic ride. It is a member of the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce and is featured by Oneida County Tourism.
