Adeline Ice Cream

About

Small-batch ice cream made fresh on site is the specialty at Adeline Ice Cream, an old-fashioned shop in Oneonta. Only one or two flavors are offered each day, and the menu also includes milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, cakes and pies.

It is a family story. Larry and Dortie Shultis were approaching retirement and wanted a new project, so Larry, who had worked in the ice cream business before, turned an old gas station into a shop with the help of his daughter Sarah and her family. The name honors his oldest daughter and the corporate name of his first ice cream shop.
