About
PACE CNY is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly and part of Loretto, with day centers at the Sally Coyne Center, 100 Malta Lane in North Syracuse, and the Catherine McAuliffe Health Center, 115 Creek Circle in East Syracuse. The program covers doctor care, prescriptions, home care, transportation, hospital visits and nursing home stays when needed for Onondaga County residents 55 and older who are certified by New York State as needing nursing home level care but can live safely in the community.
What to know
- Loretto launched PACE CNY in 1997.
- Both day centers have on-site medical clinics.
- The program provides free transportation to the day center, clinic, hospitals and specialist appointments.
- Fees are fully covered for people eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid, or Medicaid only; others pay a monthly fee.
- PACE CNY counts as a Medicare Part D plan, so new participants leave their existing Part D plan.
